All the way back in 2020 at the end of the reveal trailer for Animal Crossing New Horizons Winter update viewers were greeted to a message that said a new update to the game will arrive in late January complete with an image of Pavé the Peacock. Now that that update will soon be added to the game it’s time to see what we know about the update so far!

Now based on the last few holiday themed events it is incredibly likely that in this update Pavé will make a return along with the Festival event. For those who don’t know in past Animal Crossing games Pavé would host an event in Animal Crossing known as Festival which would have players collect colorful feathers in exchange for limited time furniture. Since Nintendo has done the same for holiday events in the past fans will be excited to have the event return

Now the next thing about the 2021 update won’t be linked to the update coming in January but rather in March and that is the Super Mario crossover to celebrate Mario’s 35th anniversary. Although not much is known other than the fact that Super Mario themed furniture will be added to the game.
