Ken Jeong is a American comedian, actor, and general practitioner. On February 14, Jeong released You Complete Me Ho, a comedy special on Netflix. Jeong is a well-known comedian and actor for being in Crazy Rich Asians, Hangover, Hangover 2, Hangover 3, Step Brother, Doctor. Ken, and he has played many more iconic roles in other movies. Jeong had his comedy special in The Ice House. He said he had his first ever Netflix comedy special at The Ice House because that’s where his wife Tran Ho first saw him do stand-up so it holds a special place in his heart. In Jeong’s special, he talks about the Hangover franchise and how when he was filming the first movie he still had a day job. He took a week off to film the movie. Jeong’s day job was working as a general practitioner, “Dumbest of all the Doctors,” at Kaiser Permanente. In the special he says that it was difficult balancing the two so once he went back to Kaiser Permanente, he quit. Even after quitting Kaiser, Jeong explains how even on set he goes into “ Doctor Mode.” For example, at one of his live shows somebody had a mild seizure in the front row so he jumped off stage and helped her. He then flew the girl and her boyfriend out to New York and paid for the hotel room so they could see his show again but they never ended up going to the show. Jeong talked about how his wife, Ho, is the strongest person he will ever know because she was a breast cancer survivor and she completes him; thus, the title of his comedy special.
