The 2016/2017 school year has been a year of incredible plays. The drama club has been doing absolutly amazing job with their performances, accurate acting and giving every play their absolute all. However in recent weeks drama club has began to worry, not about the upcoming play, they are working their butts off to make sure this upcoming play is a success. They are worried about next year’s behind the scenes efforts.

2017/2018 year for drama club is in need of underclassmen to learn tech and crew. By tech I mean lights, spotlights, sound board, etc. There is also a need for stage crew which helps with building the set, setting the set for each scene, curtains, etc. This year is one of drama club’s best years they ever had. They have provided everyone with great entertainment for this entire year making everyone happy to go watch their plays that make everyone smile.

 Many students who are interested don’t join drama club until their later years of high school because they think they are required to act or are a bit shy, but theatre provides more opportunities than one may realize. Drama Club is currently targeting freshman, sophomores, and juniors for tech and crew because seniors are leaving, but anyone can join. The drama club has put on a plethora of amazing plays, one can only imagine what they will do next year.
