Scary Movie 5 is an American “comedy ” and the fifth installment to the Scary Movie franchise. The film was distributed by Dimension Films. Scary Movie 5  was released on April 12 , 2013. It was reported  to be a “comedy ” film, but really isn’t as funny as everyone expected to be.

The film begins with the two main characters– Ashley Tisdale, and Simon Rex. This film makes parodies of various horror films, such as Paranormal Activity , Mama , Black Swan,  and Insidious.  It also name-checks a lot of stuff from popular culture like the novel Fifty Shades Of Grey, and also the Madea films. Scary Movie 5, has received numerous negative reviews.

Honestly, this film is nothing but ridiculous. Everyone expected it to be hilarious, but this fifth installment isn’t s funny as the rest of the films. Scary movies have been making parodies of horror films for many years now. Over the years, theses films have just gotten more and more ridiculous. And I mean ridiculous not as in funny, but in stupendous ridiculous.

I don’t recommend you go out to see this stinker. The only thing that will be funny is you spending money on a movie not worth seeing.
