Saturday Night Live returns with cast changes

Saturday Night Live is returning this week with its 38^th season but will not be returning with its 37^th season cast. NBC announced Monday morning that two of SNL’s biggest stars: Kristen Wiig and Andy Samberg, will be leaving (minor cast member Abby Elliott is also not returning). Three new performers will be taking their places: Aidy Bryant, Tim Robinson and Cecily Strong, who all hail from Chicago, Illinois and all have experience in comedy.

Jason Sudeikis has also been expected to leave the show but it is not a for sure thing.

SNL will be airing this Saturday at 11:30 p.m. on NBC, with host Seth MacFarlane and musical guest Frank Ocean.
