Senior night is always full of fun and excitement and hanging out with friends and family. Senior night is when seniors are recognized during the last football game of the season. Here at Colton High School senior night is this week on Friday November 4th.

Being a senior can be kind-of scary, knowing you’ll have to grow up sooner than later. Especially being a cheerleader and a senior, it’s like you leave apart of yourself at your school, dedicating much time, energy, and sweat, into having spirit for your school. Merina Delgado, senior and varsity cheer captain of Colton High School says it makes her really sad because she was captain last year, and then captain again this year, so knowing that it’s over for her and that Friday’s gonna be her last football game makes Delgado sad, because Delgado has been in varsity cheer since her freshmen year, so she says “I’m like excited and scared at the same time”, to move on “scared for it to be over, but not scared to move on”.

For those who have been in a sport their whole high school experience, do have an impact on their school. Colton High School will honor all seniors and all senior’s who have dedicated themselves to Colton High. We are proud of you. Good luck.
