Varsity Football Gets the Loss against Skyhawks, 42-14

The Varsity Yellow Jackets had taken a tough loss against the Summit Skyhawks, 42-14, on Thursday, October 28th. The team knew heading into this one that it would be a tough game considering that the Skyhawks, who were already 7-1 and coming off a three game winning streak, are one of the most dangerous teams in the league. So in preparation, they went to go into the game with a strong mentality.

In the first quarter, the Jackets came in hot, having received the ball and returning it for 20 yards. Junior, Lawrence Campbell received the ball now offence is on the field they tried to make a first down but ended up being 4th and 4 and the jackets punted the ball and on the first play Summit returned a touchdown, making the score 7-0. Summit then followed up and scored another touchdown, leaving the score 14-0 at the end of the quarter.

In the second quarter, the score was 42-0, the Jackets down by three touchdowns. The Varsity team came up with a game plan it is now halftime and in the 3rd quarter the jackets come out on the field having fun knowing that their was no way of coming back so they hit smacked and had fun during the second half the jackets is now on offence and score a touchdown and another touchdown in the second half leaving the game into an end with a score of 42-14.
