Girls JV squashes the competition, 14-4, against Bloomington

On April 13th, the Colton JV softball team had a dominating performance against the Bloomington Bruins, getting the win at Bloomington High School, 14-4.  When the 1st inning started the Lady Jackets were already in a huge lead 8-0.  For Colton on defense it was on easy 1,2,3 inning.  For the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th inning both teams kept each other scoreless.  Sophomore, Alexia Cardona, made a huge contribution by double RBI, bring in 2 scores for the Girls Softball team. In the 6th inning Bloomington tries to take the lead but Colton stopped them from scoring anymore. Bottom of the 6th Colton rallied up and scored an additional 6 runs leaving the score 14-4. In the 7th inning, Senior, Corena Garcia hit a base hit to score another run to get the girls to 14 points. In the 8th and 9th inning, both teams remained unable to score, ending the game with a final score of 14-4.
