NFL teams busy during offseason; many moves made

In the NFL there have been some big changes as far as quarterbacks. Some pretty big names as well as RGIII (Robert Griffin III); he has been through a roller coaster ride with the Redskins and had a very promising potential as the Redskins future quarterback after having more than an impressive rookie year. But, an ACL injury held Griffin back from making a comeback in the NFL. He has been in arguments with the coaching staff and the locker room.

In Washington  he was starting to divide the team, so this offseason he was traded to the Cleveland Browns. The Browns have been looking for some magic at quarterback for over a decade now; they thought they found that in Johnny Manziel but were disappointed in his off field actions that kept piling up. So they let Johnny go and are now hoping for Robert Griffin to be their savior but only time will tell for the Browns.
The buzz around the NFL has been all about Colin Kaepernick, the former quarterback who was a star in San Francisco, who is now the most hated after a bad season and was benched. Colin doesn’t feel comfortable in San Francisco. Colin has been more then amazing taking the 49ers to the Super Bowl and two NFC championship games as they fired their coach after this horrible season Jim Tomsula has been replaced with more of a better coach in Chip Kelly. Kelly was fired by the Eagles after a bad season, but Chip had success in the NFL with his offensive system–more of a college offense–but has seen success with it in the NFL. But this system needs more of a mobile quarterback like Kaepernick, although it makes sense for Colin to stay he still does not feel comfortable and has asked the staff that he would like to be traded. A team who shows much interest in Colin is the Denver Broncos; after just winning the Super Bowl, their quarterback, Peyton Manning, has stepped away from the game, and the backup Brock Osweiler has left to play for Houston.

The Broncos are in need of a quarterback. They have picked up former Eagles quarterback Mark Sanchez, but he doesn’t seem like the savior Denver needs. They want Kaepernick, but in order for that to happen they need him to take a $5 million pay cut which he doesn’t want to take. Kaepernick is still under contract, and the 49ers do not want to let him leave.  All of this makes for a pretty sticky situation with the 49ers and the Broncos, but certainly it is not over. Stay tuned. The NFL is famous for making lots of surprising moves every offseason.
