As the year comes to a close…

Another year has come and gone, out with the old in with the new. Now that the end of the year is coming up a lot of stuff is forced to be crammed into the schools busy schedule. With senior graduation on June 2nd 2014 and school finally ending on June 5th 2014, lots of stuff must be done.

Many things are still to come with finals, graduation, and goodbyes. We need to all come to realize. High school is almost over. The freshmen had just completed their first year. Sophomores are half-way through high school. Juniors still have one year to go. And seniors, well, only about a week.

We it is put like that we realize how short high school is and how we must make it worth its wild. So why is it that we wait until the last minute to do our work? High school is the most important time of your life; it can make or break your future, so maybe we need to realize that.

The future is full of the unknown, but what we do know is, there are friends, time for fun, and times to be serious. So if we have our whole future ahead of us like that, why is it that we do it all in high school?  We still have college, and maybe even medical or law school. Maybe we need to realize what lies ahead and take high school seriously from the start.

Our Goal

Recently, the CHS Publications Department experienced a major theft as over $20,000 in photography equipment was stolen from our studio over Spring Break. This included all cameras. Any amount you donate will help rebuild our program. Thank you!
