Vice Presidential debate good television–but did it matter?

Vice Presidential debate good television--but did it matter?

The Vice-Presidential debate between Democrat Joe Biden and Republican Paul Ryan proved to be something worth watching.

Hosted at Danville College in Kentucky, with narrator Martha Raddatz, Biden and Ryan were not shy about digging into each other to prove their points.

While the debate itself was decent, what really grabbed the attention of the viewers was Biden. The current Vice-President was constantly smirking and grinning throughout the debate, and even went and put his hands up in the air.

Biden nearly completely blew Ryan away with insults and smart remarks.

Ryan, however, was not to be counted out that easily, even though he didn’t combat Biden much. Ryan responded as much as he could, before Biden interrupted him, of course.

Both parties agreed that Biden was far too aggressive in this debate; even more aggressive than usual.

It is still not quite clear who the winner was at this debate. Some even went as far to say that the host, Raddatz, was the victor. No apparent person seemed to help their party much because of their rather poor debating.

The next debate will have to be better than this excuse of one. President Barack Obama and Governor Mitt Romney will need to give their all as the next will be the last before the long-awaited election.
