Romney Claims Victory in Florida

Romney+Claims+Victory+in+Florida

Republicans Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich sparred with each other once again in Florida over the issue of debt, taxes, and oddly enough, the moon. However, Mitt Romney was victorious over Gingrich in the primary with 44% of the vote, leaving Gingrich with only 28%.

Gingrich and Romney made Rick Santorum and Ron Paul both look like a couple of jokes in a room. Gingrich has some positive aspects to speak about, including his victory in South Carolina. While Gingrich has been well off with endorsements from former candidates Herman Cain and Rick Perry, Donald Trump is now endorsing Mitt Romney. The billionaire shook Romney’s hand and stated he believes Romney can “go out and get ‘em.” Who really cares what he has to say though?

Aside from all of this endorsement business, Gingrich appears to be a little frustrated about his loss to Romney in the Florida Primary. After all, he was talking about some really important things like the moon; that big white-looking thing about a billion miles away in space.

Now, about Romney, he declared that he doesn’t care about the poor as they have a “safety net.” Even though that was pretty cold-hearted, some may find that they would agree with the former Massachusetts Governor because the middle-class Americans are the most important. That is the undeniable, and the unfortunate truth.

Romney crushed Gingrich, received endorsement by Trump, cast the poor aside, and is now the best bet for the Republican candidate for the general election.
