Ohio execution murders shock nation numb from violence

Paulina Gallardo, Reporter

We’ve come to expect, even ignore, stories of mass shootings, they’ve become so common. But what authorities found last week at a home back east shocked even the most crime-hardened detective.

Last week an entire Ohio family of eight were killed “execution-style” by a bullet to the head. It was said that the murders happened while they were asleep. The eight victims were of ages 16, 19, 20, 20, 37, 38, 40, and 44. Amidst the gruesome murders, there were a number of three children found unharmed, but forever terrorized. A six-month old infant was lying next to his mother when she was killed.

There were four separate crime scenes, three of which had marijuana operations. Although marijuana was found at the crime scenes, it is still not guaranteed that the murders were marijuana related. The murders are still under investigation, no one knows who committed the gruesome murders. There are many pieces to the investigation both the public and crime scene investigators don’t know. A tip line was established for the public to submit helpful information that can contribute to the solving of these murders.
