Veterans’ Day at Colton High was celebrated with the installation of a special lamppost banner honoring Robert “Bobby” Crites, Class of ’68, who was killed in Action in the Vietnam War in 1969 at age 19. His helecopter was hit by enemy fire and crashed. The class of 1968 got together and pitched in to honor their fallen classmate. Attending the ceremony were members of the class of ’68, along with local veteran’s groups. The CHS ROTC Color guard presented the colors and the choir performed several numbers. Full video of the ceremony is available at Pepper Bough Television, the video section of our online newspaper.

Our Goal

Recently, the CHS Publications Department experienced a major theft as over $20,000 in photography equipment was stolen from our studio over Spring Break. This included all cameras. Any amount you donate will help rebuild our program. Thank you!
