Immaculate Conception holds another successful festival

The weekend of April/29-30/2017 was the time of the year at Immaculate Conception when everyone was welcome to come and enjoy the annual festival. There was music, food, entertainment, etc. The theme was Hawaiian and the booths made you feel as if you were really in the Aloha state. The entertainment featured men, women, and children dancing, praising, and explaining Hawaiian traditions and culture. Each booth seemed to have been run by different groups that formed the church. The taco stand, according to father Bonifacio N. Velasquez, a well known father of the parish, was run by the group of matrimony. The games by the EYG (Exodo Youth Group), and the food by the catechism teachers and people who had donated supplies and their time to make their yearly efforts and make their profitable goals in money.

On Sunday morning, a special mass was held. The mass took place outside. It seemed very different for a lot of people, but they seemed to have been happy with the cool breeze on the hot summer day.
