Words of Wisdom by Esau

Esau Villegas, Philosopher

Hi, my name is Esau Villegas. (that’s pronounced “E-Saw”). Throughout this year, I will be posting Words of Wisdom. Now, you may think, “what can a lowly freshman, new to the school, teach me about life? He’s only FOURTEEN, FOR GOODNESS’ SAKE!” Well, sit down, relax, and learn.

1.”If you say today will be a good day, what’s to make it not happen?”

-Esau villegas

That was me. Now for some others, gathered in my world travels. How many apply to you?

2.If you do what you’ve always done you will get what you have always gotten.

3.You can do it, the only thing that gets in your way is the thought you can’t do it.

4.You’re an actor in a play called, “LIFE”, there is no script, you WING IT!

5.There are many paths to take in life, and not knowing will make you see the right path.

6.Instead of following the only path, make your own path and and see where it takes you.

7.If you pray to God for a friend and he sends you one, you now have two friends.

8.Do you know what today is? Today is a gift, that’s why they call it the, “present”.

9.You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.

10.Don’t leave something you could do today for tomorrow.

#4 Life is explained as a play, us as actors, but what we do is not in a script because there is no stop to this play and like it says “ you WING IT!”.

#3 explains that hesitation and doubt can basically stop you because you don’t believe that you can do it.

#8 just says that the name of the present means a gift, and it means that you get a gift everyday.

Well, that’s it for now. Tune in for more Wisdom soon!
