The 2K Sports organization has really stepped up its game on this year’s NBA 2K15 videogame with great graphics, smooth hand on gameplay, and realistic animations. The hyped basketball game released this past Tuesday provides several features that had fans in awe and excited to play. Gamers, fans and even the coaches and NBA players around the league are very pleased of what the company has provided. One of the most popular features (as of this week) is the 2KTV feature, which provides a weekly, live NBA show hosted by sports broadcast personality, Rachel A DeMita, giving the latest new things in the game, exclusive interviews with legends, players and coaches, and so much more.
The reigning NBA MVP (of the 2013-14 seasons), Small Forward for the Oklahoma City Thunder and cover athlete Kevin Durant described this year’s game in an interview with Jimmy Fallon on the recent episode of the Tonight Show that the gameplay was incredible. He admits that playing as he in the game was quote “arrogant” and how he plays as the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Small Forward, LeBron James. The former number two draft pick seemed excited to talk about the video game in front of the crowd of the Tonight Show and to the millions viewers around the world.
Another famous feature in the game is an original 2K feature called “MyCareer”. In last year’s game, you were able to have a storyline of your created NBA player’s life with your agent as you experience your first draft night, first game, a lot of drama on-and-off the court and so much more. In this year’s 2K15, the story mode is more as a challenge as you try to fight for 10-day contracts and for you stay in the NBA. After not getting drafted in the 2014 draft, your player heads to free agency and has a 6 month delay till January 2015 to start your season. You first start your season by trying out for a list of teams that are very interested in you. If you impress the team, the coaching staff and the owner within the 10-day contract, you stay for the rest of the season.
This game will provide a big punch in sales and a big splash in satisfaction from fans. Like any great sports game, this will get people off of their feet and soar flying in the air like Michael Jordan (you actually have the option of playing Jordan). Expect this basketball game to have lots of hits.
