Daylight: the new horror game you will LOVE

A recent horror game which has been making a name for itself is a game which is called Daylight.

The game begins with your character, Sarah, with only your cell phone for light, awakening in a hospital which is abandoned, blacked out, and apparently haunted! What could possible make it better? Oh, yea and there’s this psycho guy who keeps talking to you throughout your journey. The interesting thing about this game is the map always changes, so if you’re stuck, you’re out of luck! In the journey the only the thing that remains the same is the fact you have to collect certain objects that have spirits attached to them, which you have to take from point A to point B. Along the way your confronted by spirits which are attached to the objects, which aggressively attack you. The only way to keep them away you may ask? WHY THE ANSWER IS QUITE SIMPLE, FLARES, BECAUSE FIRE BURNS THE GHOSTS, BECAUSE LOGIC!

I guess that isn’t the weirdest thing about it, considering your phone that you use has a seemingly infinite amount of battery life, and you somehow aren’t contemplating giving up and smashing out the windows to high tail it home, or the fact multiple ghosts don’t just posses you and use your organs as a hacky sack. BUT ANWAYS, after a series of long and repetitive events, you find out your on a island! Great! Next, you are faced with freedom, a boat! JUST KIDDING your freedom is dramatically blown up right in front of you due to mysterious circumstances! And after tedious hours of playing and dying, you either die, or escape! This game had its faults, and trusts me I mean faults, but it was OK. I give it a 7/10 for repetitive actions and unrealistic factors.

Daylight is available on PS4 and PCs.
