Fox redeems itself with “Logan”

Joshua Sandoval, Reporter

They say the first movie is always the best. In most cases this is deemed true, especially with the X-Men movies. But lately Fox has been stepping up its game, and it shows in their latest superhero movie “Logan.”

There’s hardly anything super about this hero though. At least on the surface that is. Set far off into the future, Logan is now an old man who’s healing factor is off and is tasked with taking care of a much older Charles Xavier. Bitter and angry with the world, he has his life changed when he meets another mutant, who he has to escort to safety all while being chased by a mutant hunting organization.

If this sounds interesting, but you’re still scared of seeing another Fox movie, then no one blames you. They have a record for making questionable decisions. But this movie definitely breaks the mould. With a heartfelt story and amazing action scenes, this is one Fox movie you’ll wanna go see. It wouldn’t be a stretch to say it’s movie of the year material either.
