Molly Burch’s style is different from most singers today, she takes influence from old singers from the 50’s as that’s what she grew up listening to. Burch’s voice fits very well with the melancholy sound from her band, Burch’s voice is always the highlight of the songs. But that shouldn’t discredit the band for finding the perfect sound to compliment her voice.

All of the Songs on Please Be Mine paint the perfect picture of someone who is a hopeless romantic who just wants to be loved and is lonely because of the lack of affection. I really enjoyed listening to this album because it’s actually a beautiful sounding album, nothing seems out of placed or mixed wrong, it’s really solid. She nailed the sound and tone of the album.

Molly Burch’s debut album Please Be Mine is a really great sounding album for someone’s debut. Burch’s sound is totally opposite from what is popular nowadays and it’s refreshing to hear something so different. I enjoyed listening to this album and I liked all of the songs on the album. I think if you enjoy listening to music you should give this album a listen. If anything, you should give this album a listen to hear Burch’s wonderful voice.
