“If I Stay” a good three-hankie film

If I Stay a good three-hankie film

Earlier this year pepperbough.com posted a review of the novel, “If I stay.”  Now comes the film version, released on Friday August 22.

The movie was intense and everyone walked out of the theater with tears in their eyes but a much better understanding of love. Mia Hall went from the girl who had it all to the girl who lost it all. Following a previous car crash involving her and her family she had to come up with the decision to stay with the person she loves, or go on with the only family she has known. The many moments she has with her family members, boyfriend, and friends is heartwarming but at the same time heart breaking.

I give this film 4 stars; it is different from any other love story that’s out right now, because not only is it showing young love between a boy and a girl, but the love and sacrifice you have for your family. I advise that everyone, no matter what gender, go to watch this movie.

Recently, the CHS Publications Department experienced a major theft as over $20,000 in photography equipment was stolen from our studio over Spring Break. This included all cameras. Any amount you donate will help rebuild our program. Thank you!
